Over the past month, FXTM’s global presence focussed mainly on the Chinese market. Hosting exclusive educational events and participating in prestigious industry gatherings, the FXTM brand further established its reach by taking part in the 4^th 2016 China Forex Expo.

On the 28^th and 29^th of October, tens of thousands of brokers, traders, investors, affiliates, IBs and forex media companies from across China and the rest of the world came together at the International Exchange Square in Shenzhen to take part in a forex gathering like no other.

Apart from being one of the expo’s special sponsors, FXTM was also one of the many finance experts who took the stage to share their knowledge and insights about the forex industry and the financial markets.

FXTM’s local analyst, Yue Zhong, provided an enthusiastic crowd of over 60 attendees with in-depth market knowledge on:

• The movements of the Chinese Yuan after officially joining the SDR on October 1^st.
• The expected impact of the upcoming US elections on the global markets
• What’s in store for the GBP/USD

FXTM showcased a very strong presence at the 2016 Brokers Show Expo in Shanghai, which was organized by one of the most progressive forex portal websites in China, FX110. The expo took place on October 22^nd, 2016, and was crowded with traders, investors, and business entrepreneurs who were eager to learn about the various brokers present, and FXTM’s booth was one of the busiest in the whole room – with a constant flow of visitors inquiring about the global broker’s products and services.

Particular highlights include:

• A high interest in the new MT5 trading platform with optional hedging, which FXTM was one of the first brokers to introduce
• Enthusiasm to speak with FXTM’s sales team about opening trading accounts
• A joint presentation by FXTM’s Market Analyst and Regional Sales Manager in a packed conference room. Topics included: how the US election will impact global economy and the forecast for the RMB movement after joining the SDR
• A big focus on the Ultimate Trading Formula Seminar which the broker presented the very next day at the Century Park Crowne Plaza Shanghai
• Receiving some of the biggest compliments in the room on FXTM’s design and presentation, which included showgirls and a branded Ferrari 458 on display.

Presented by FXTM Head of Education and renowned FX Guru, Prof. Andreas Thalassinos, the seminar on October 23^rd was absolutely free to attend and garnered a lot of attention due to the high interest shown at the expo on the previous day.

Some of the highlights of the seminar included:

• A turnout that exceeded expectations, with almost a 100 attendees present
• An engaging presentation by FXTM’s Regional Sales Manager on copy trading
• Prof. Andreas Thalassinos’ enthusiastic lessons on forex trading basics, strategies and risk management
• A lively Q&A session

FXTM’s VP of Corporate Development and Market Research, Jameel Ahmad, was a special guest on China’s premier network, CCTV (China Central Television) for the Global Business Show hosted by Cheng Lei, on October 25^th, 2016. The show also featured interviews from prominent figures in the financial world including the Vice President of the China Banking Association, Pan Guangwei.

Following the successful appearance of FXTM at the Broker Show Expo in Shanghai on the 22^nd of October and the 1-day seminar of the Ultimate Trading Formula the next day, the FXTM market expert was invited to provide his outlooks on the global economy and share his views on what could be in store for the Chinese Yuan.

Key topics discussed in Jameel’s appearance on CCTV include:

• The Chinese Yuan weakening to further historic lows against the Dollar.
• What has contributed towards the recent falls for the Chinese Yuan.

At the end of each day, the attendees had the opportunity to participate in interactive Q&A sessions with the professor and gain more exclusive knowledge on topics of their choosing. On the final day the participants were awarded with certificates for completing the workshop and were also awarded with FXTM gifts.

Due to the end of Daylight Savings Time taking place on October 30^th in Europe and November 6^th in the USA, the FXTM trading schedule will be changed in order to accommodate for the time difference.
