On July 1 and July 2, FXTM helped to promote and showcase the magnificence of Russian ballet on the Cypriot stage. For two nights, the broker co-sponsored the famous Hermitage Ballet Theatre from St. Petersburg, who were on the Mediterranean island preforming the classic Swan Lake ballet by Piotr Tchaikovsky.

Preformed in Limassol’s gorgeous outdoor Municipal Garden Theatre, the ballet is divided into three acts and four scenes and tells the fabled story of beautiful Odette who is turned into a swan, and the Prince who falls in love with her. The Hermitage Theatre in St. Petersburg is one of the oldest and most famous Russian theatres in the world; their troupe’s performance of Swan Lake was met with standing ovations from the satisfied crowd.

FXTM is proud and honored to have been a part of bringing a performance of a world-famous classic to its community. By sponsoring an event like the Swan Lake ballet in Cyprus, FXTM continues to nurture its core value of social responsibility while at the same time supporting a timeless piece of culture.

FXTM successfully concluded a recent media tour in Nigeria. The developing country continues to show endless amount of interest and potential for the forex markets, which our own Market Research Analyst Lukman Otunuga confirmed after doing a round of talks and interviews at the end of May.

On May 30 and May 31, Lukman sat down with well-known publications in Nigeria – including Business Day, The Guardian, The Nation, and ThisDay among others – and discussed the impact of the forex industry as it directly relates to Nigerian development and economy.

Specific topics covered include;

• The likely impact of the latest Federal Reserve decision on the Naira and Nigerian economy.

More successful seminar news out of Nigeria! On Wednesday, June 1, a Traders’ Gathering in Lagos showcased one of FXTM’s greatest strengths; market analysis.
